Welcome To Crunchy Frog's Shrine Of Classic RPG Worship!

Updated Jan. 26, 1999
This page is my first attempt at writing a web-page, so I hope that you all will bear with me while the page goes through (many) growing pains. view at 800x600 for best results.
Screenshots section  (Updated with a cool banner, some new pics and screendumps soon!)
RPG Midi section                   (Growing again, with new midis for listening and downloads!)
Links Page!    (New Links, but still under construction!  Mail Me if you want to be linked.)
Hehe...
I've gotten a gratifying response to my PaRappa humiliation request, and so I've decided to post a great little pic of that stupid mutt's last moments. (Mutt? Panda? What the hell IS that retarded mongrel thing anyway?) Anyway, the pic is  here. Thanks to BadBrad.

WANTED! User reviews of classic RPGs!
Got a fave that you felt never got enough attention? Send me a write-up and if possible, a screen shot, and I will add it to my "Under Construction" reviews page.
I hope to make this area a shrine of the classic 8-bit RPGs that claimed so much of my youth, (and likely yours, if you have found this page!) and will be filling it with all the info that I am able to find on such classic and genre-defining RPGs such as the Ultima, Wizardry and Bard's Tale series', as well as some lesser known, but equally amazing and influential games, such as the Phantasie trilogy, Wastelands, Questron, Legacy of the Ancients, Alternate Reality; The City and The Dungeon (check out  The Alternate Reality Online Project for an exciting possibility), Wizard's Crown (the prototype of all the Strategy/RPG console games that are now all the rage; Vandal Hearts, Final Fantasy Tactics, Shining Force, etc.) and many others as I find/remember them, or people send them to me.

Eventually, I will attempt to cover some of the better 16-bit computer RPGs such as The Eye of the Beholder trilogy and  some of the few good console RPGs such as Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 3(6) and 7, Xenogears, and Shining the Holy Ark.
I will attempt to have as many screenshots, cover art pics, manuals, MIDI files, (in deference to my page hosts, no MP3s will be posted) personal and reader reviews, Java games, and emulation info and ROM images (free from copyright) as are able to fit!
So for now, feel free to send me and feedback, ideas, suggestions, rants etc. to  [email protected]  and check back often! its gonna get better and better!
